I had to do a formal report on banana oil synthesis and I had to show the mechanism for it. I am posting this mechanism so everyone can review about Fischer Esterification too.
Thank you for this. My professor from last semester told us not to worry about fisher projections so for the most part I didn't even study it. I was surprised to see it on the first exam and to be honest with you I did bad on that question.Now that the ACS is here I will make sure I study that and I believe this will help me study well.
